Night

A city at night is simpler

All that you can see is light.

I used to like drawing on black paper

Because you didn’t have to put in the shadows.

I don’t draw anymore

But I can still see in the dark

The light

Of a cityscape at night

And on the horizon

Inverse shadows

Glow yellow.
